Cynthia Austin Lumpkin, 66, of Springfield, Missouri passed away at James River Care Center Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 7:27 PM.

She was a faithful servant to the Lord, a wonderful and outgoing mother and grandmother, and protector.  She was a dental assistant for many years for Dr. Wolf in Springfield.  She was a dedicated grandmother and willing to help in anyway.  She had a great passion for music, singing, and dancing.  She enjoyed the outdoors, taking walks, and bragging about her four grandsons which she placed nobody above.

She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Barnett and father Fred Young.

She is survived by son Daniel Austin and son Harrison Austin of Springfield, MO.  Daughter Stacy Davis and husband Wesley Davis of Mountain Grove, MO with their three children Michael, Cody, and Justin.  Also daughter Ginger Austin of Springfield, MO.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help find a cure for Parkinson's Disease.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 28 in Maple Park Cemetery.
