Curtis Wayne White, age 55, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, October 17, 2011 in Springfield, MO in his home. He was born in Texas to Thomas and Donna White on September 13, 1956. He graduated from high school in Nebraska and attended Rose College in Oklahoma. He traveled the world and was a member of the U.S. Army. He worked for White House Communications and later became the owner. Curtis was an avid golfer, bowler and loved sports and travel. He was preceded in death by his father, Retired Chief Master Sergeant, Thomas E. White. He is survived by his wife, Juliana Howell-White of Springfield; step-sons, Andrew and Matthew Sweeney of Springfield; mother, Donna White; brother, John (Val) White; sisters, Dena Ayars, Tomi Lee White, Mona (Gary) Vessell and Leslie (Lee) Bernbaum; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel Friday, October 28, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. A service with his immediate family will be held in Oklahoma City, OK with full military honors.
