Cris Noelle Haynes came into the world feet-first, blue-eyed and looking just like her Daddy on October 26, 1967.  That night at 8:07pm birthed The Haynes Family. Born to Bob and Pat Haynes, Cris spent her early years with kind doctors and nurses and showered with love by her family and friends.

Her family grew complete upon moving to Bolivar, MO to stay with Linda and Lendol Mashburn in the early Seventies. She lived happily at Mashburn Residential Center for over 50 years and received the best care any child could hope for. Cris thrived with The Mashburns, their staff and her housemates.  Cris gave pure love all of her life, and her smile was infectious. She loved the sound of bells, her Linda, her best friend Davy, visits from her family, and would cheer in her own special way when she felt love. Cris was beautiful and perfect, and will be remembered forever with love and a smile.

Cris left us peacefully in the afternoon of January 7, 2024.  Her Mother, Patricia Mary Haynes, passed on April 3, 2022, and they are now together. She is survived by her father, Robert; sisters Joy and Merrie and their families; Linda Mashburn and the Mashburn Family.

She will be laid to rest next to her mother on Friday, January 12th at Hazelwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home, 1-2pm.
