It is with great sadness to announce that Cory Michael Estey (1974-2021), originally from Omaha, NE, the son of John and Rosemarie (Lyons) Estey has tragically passed away the evening of July 4, 2021.

Cory resided in Walnut Grove, Missouri with his fiancé Audree Crain.

He is survived by his parents, brother Sean (Kathleen); nephews, Garrett and Mitchell; sister, Megan (Andrew); nieces, Gabrielle, Raquel, Alexandria and Sydnee; many aunts, uncles and cousins as well.

Cory had a natural passion and skill in the culinary field, masterfully creating amazing meals for his friends and family. His skills also crossed over into the carpentry trade being brought up and taught by his father.

Cory enjoyed watching football and spending time with his pets and planning his future with Audree. He could light up any room with his quick-witted jokes and contagious laughter.

He will be greatly missed by his friends, family and all that knew him.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 East Seminole St. Springfield. MO.
