Ida Mae "Connie" Stafford, 83, of Springfield, MO passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. She was born on November 12, 1929 in Parsons, KS to Henry and Treva Conrad. She met the love of her life, Robert Stafford, in Parsons, KS. After they were married, they moved to Springfield, MO. Connie loved to sew, decorate her home, and visit with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Terry Callaway and husband Nick; son, Steven Mark; sister, Mona Berglund; brother, Harvey Conrad; niece, Beth Presley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 2:00pm in Macedonia Cemetery, Buffalo, MO. Friends may call on the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home Wednesday, after 3:00pm. Funeral procession will meet at 1:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fair Haven Children's Home, 3132 N. Fair Haven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757 or Hospice Compassus, 1465 E. Primrose St., Springfield, MO 65804.
