Connie Lynn Jobe (Jones), 87, passed away peacefully in Springfield, MO on September 27, 2025. Born on December 13, 1937 in Oklahoma City, OK, Connie was the daughter of Ernie and Gladys Jones. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Education and became a third-grade teacher while her husband, Charles Jobe, completed medical school. They were married in 1958 and moved to Springfield in 1968.

Connie enjoyed community service in Springfield, lending her time and talent to multiple organizations, including Head Start, Welcome Wagon, Girl Scouts and the Masterpieces Art Group. Connie also served on the board of directors of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and as president of the Greater Ozarks chapter of the American Red Cross.

Connie loved outdoor activities, travel and participating in various conservation projects. She also enjoyed her time with family and friends, of which she had many.

The couple had three children; Jennifer, Jeffery, and Elizabeth. Grandchildren include Jackson and Grace Pilgrim.

She is survived by Charles Jobe, Jennifer Johnson and husband Robert, Elizabeth Pilgrim and husband Christopher, and Grace Pilgrim.

A visitation will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
