Wallace "Conner" MacGyver Ransom, 24 of Springfield, MO, was called home on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. He was born on June 7th, 1992 in Springfield, Missouri. He was the beloved son of Wallace "Wally" Merco and Pamela "Pam" Lynne (Sexton) Ransom. He loved playing football and took pride in coaching the Parkview Jr. Vikings Football Team. Through his love of football, Conner was able to touch the lives of numerous young men.
Conner was a rock for many people in his life. He was someone that people knew they could always count on for good advice, a shoulder to cry on and a good time. Conner was full of life and loved living big. He experienced everything that life had to offer. He always wanted to make sure that everyone felt included and felt loved. There was not a soul in this world that Conner did not care about.
He loved working on cars with his Dad and you could always find them out in the garage working on one of their many projects. He was always willing to help anyone that had a problem with their vehicle and could tell you what was wrong without even seeing the car. Conner always took pride in his vehicles. He loved his '69 Short Wide Chevy Pickup and the '72 AMC Javelin that he worked on with his Dad.
Conner had many passions in his life. He loved all of his friends dearly, float trips, camping in Colorado, fast cars, summers in Oklahoma, Legends Carwash and riding his motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by numerous family and close friends. He is survived by his Mother Pam, Father Wally, Sister Lindsay, his dog Little Bear, numerous Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends…all who he considered FAMILY.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May 8 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. All services will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole.
