Connell G. Cobb was born August 9, 1939 in Saltillo, Mississippi, the son of Martha Ella and Clifton Cobb.  He was a graduate of Central High School in Springfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Maxine Evelyn Cobb, daughter, Carolyn Alice Cobb and two brothers, Joseph Clifton Cobbs and Charles Clinton Cobb.

He is survived by his daughter, Constance Cobb and one living sister, Amanda Darden. Also surviving are his nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2025 in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
