Cletis Pruiett, 80 of Springfield passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 in his home. He was born June 24, 1935 in Ava, MO to Ebb and Corda Johnson Pruiett. After retiring from Zenith he was a devoted grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jerry; two brothers, Thetis and Marvin Pruiett; and two sisters, Mae Cox and Sylvia Pinkel. He is survived by his wife, Lavon Stafford Pruiett of the home; two daughters, Brenda and husband, Tim O'Connell of Springfield, and Kim and husband, Pat O'Sullivan of Lamar, MO; four grandchildren, Megan O'Connell of Boulder, CO, Mallory O'Connell of Denver, CO, Madison and husband, Micah Petersen of Bixby, OK, and Erin O'Sullivan of Springfield, MO; a brother, Johnny and wife, Pauline Pruiett of Moline, IL; and two sisters, Lou Coy of Ava, and Golda Dixon of Springfield. Funeral services will be at 6:30 pm Monday, November 30, 2015 at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with a visitation from 5:00 pm until service time. Burial will be Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11:00 am in Mount Tabor Cemetery, Ava, MO. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice, 1570 W.
