Clell Francis Harmon of Springfield, Missouri, born July 25, 1936 in Tulare, California and passed June 30th 2009, with his wife of 42 years, and his children and grandchildren at his side. He was joined in marriage to Joyce Marie Dunn (Downing), February 25, 1967 in Visalia California. He was a devoted husband and father. Clell was a life long business owner and was founder of Midwest Pool & Spa in Springfield, with his wife and son George. He owned many different antique and collectible stores. Clell loved playing Texas Hold'em with all of his many friends and family, and enjoyed gardening and looking for a bargain at the flea markets. Clell was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde & Ethyl Harmon. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; sons, Clell Alan Harmon (Helen), Tim Harmon(Tammy), George Downing (Gaitha) and Darrin Downing; daughters, Lisa Burns (Richard) and Christine Davis (David) of Maine; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
