Clarita L. Scott, 71, was born November 25, 1940 in Springfield, MO to Johnny and Mary Starks. She leaves behind three siblings; Juan Starks (his wife Loyce), Ricky Starks (his wife Jewell) and Pam Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gary Starks. Clarita was a student at Lincoln High School and graduated from Central High School. After furthering her education, Rita became a medical transcriptionist at St. Johns Hospital. She retired after 32 years of service in 2003. Clarita is the mother of seven children, Therese Lee (husband Mark), Richard Scott, Johnny Scott (wife Carolyn), Garra Williams (husband Fred), Darren Scott, Greg Scott (wife Jama), and Je'ne' Scott. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren with six great-grandchildren. Clarita is loved and will be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. There will be a graveside service on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:00AM in Hazelwood Cemetery.
