Obituary

Clara M. Ingram, age 94, passed away on July 8, 2021, in Nixa, MO.

Clara was born December 12, 1926 in Everton, AR, daughter of the late Cletus and Eunice Stovall Harris.  She graduated from Bruno High School.  Clara was awarded a scholarship to Draughn's Business College in Little Rock, AR, where she majored in Finance.

She married Robert P. Ingram in November of 1948 at the First Baptist Church in Harrison, AR.  She had been employed by Missouri and Arkansas Railroad and Arkansas Power and Light, now Entegy.  She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Springfield, MO.

In addition to her husband and parents, Clara was preceded in death by one sister, Eda Albritton and two brothers, G.C. Harris and Howard.  Survivors include one sister, Mary Sue Scrivner, Nixa, MO. She leaves behind a host of relatives, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Nixa Nursing and Rehab and Regional Hospice for their loving care and service to Clara.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2021 in Maplewood Cemetery, Harrison, Arkansas, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72207 or St. Jude's Cancer Center, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
