Clara Collins left this earth for her heavenly home after a long battle with cancer on January 19th 2022 at her home in Dade County, Missouri. Born Clara Lee Roberts in 1947 near Kingswood, Kentucky, to Roberta Mae (Rushton) and Baird L. Roberts. Baptized into the Methodist Church 1957. Attended Linneus High School in Linneus, Missouri. In 1962 she married her high school sweetheart Ronald Howard Jenkins and to that union were born Howard Ozon Jenkins and Katherine Yvonne Jenkins (Low). In later years she married Gerald Lee Collins and gained two adult stepchildren, Pamela Praiswater (Ken) and Gary Lee Collins. Clara is blessed with five grandchildren: Ron Jenkins, Danielle Ellis, Randy Ashton, Zachary Camarillo, and Pandora Liu, and in addition two great grandsons, Ethan Jenkins and Isaac Camarillo.

Clara loved singing and drawing. She was an artist with embroidery work. As a career choice Clara became an interior decorator in retail companies home accessories. As a second career, Clara continued her love for people by serving in the food industry.  There she was promoted to trainer for new servers.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her son, her brother Baird L. Roberts, Jr., and her late husband Gerald Collins.  Surviving her are her daughter, her grandchildren, and great grandson, one sister Audrey Jean (Roberts) Clifford (George), and one stepsister, Charlaine (Bear) Davis (William).

She is survived by two nieces and two nephews, great nieces and great nephews, several cousins, step-grandchildren, church family, neighbors, and many friends.  Clara left a lasting mark of love and kindness on all who had the privilege of working with her or walking beside her in any capacity.  Her smile and humor will live on.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Olive Church North of Greenfield.

Another service will be held on January 27th at the First Baptist Church in Linneus Missouri at 11am.
