Chuck Hines, age 70, passed away surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer at James River Nursing Facility on Sunday, November 12, 2023.

Chuck was born September 10, 1953, in Springfield, Missouri, to Richard Hines and Margaret (Knapp) Taylor. Chuck graduated from Central High School. Afterwards he worked at various jobs but settled at Springfield City Utilities as a maintenanceworker for 13 years. Mr. Chuck, as his neighbors called him, enjoyed playing golf, watching baseball, and spending time with hisfamily. He is truly missed by all who know him.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother, Michael (Mike) Hines; son, Chris Hines; daughter-in-law, Deanna Hines; grandchildren, Jared and Julia.

A graveside service will be at Hazelwood Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 17, 2023.
