Christopher "Chris" Shoemaker, 58, of Springfield, MO passed away March 2, 2025.

He was born the son of Sharon Louise Smith in Aurora, IL on May 24, 1966.

Chris attended Missouri State where he majored in religious studies. He loved to read, carpentry, and wood working.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his husband William "Bill" Shoemaker; two sisters Susan Hanson and Tammy Ward; three nieces Ashley Martinez, Brandy Ladner, and Nicole Essa; one nephew Jonathon Bunton; thirteen great-nieces and nephews.
