Christopher L. Cobb, 62, of Nixa, passed away on November 28, 2021. He was born March 14, 1959 in Passaic, NJ to Eldon and Shirley Cobb. He was one of five children. In 1977, Chris graduated from Kickapoo High School. After High School, he joined the Army and served for 3 years. Chris was united in marriage with Diane Foster and her daughter Ashley Davis (Chance) in 1992. Together they had a daughter, Abigail Cobb, in 1995. He was a devoted son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He worked for Pepsi for 33 years. Chris enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing the lottery, being the family handyman, NASCAR and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Bill Foster and nephew, Cody Taylor.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Cobb of Nixa; daughters Ashley Chance (Casey) of Nixa and Abigail Cobb (Joseph Bottoms) of Foley, AL; grandson, Foster Chance of Nixa; granddaughter, Sloane Chance of Nixa; brothers Bill Cobb of Willard and Doug Cobb (Lisa) of Nixa; sisters Naomi Davis (Cecil) of Springfield and Sarah Taylor (Randy) of Miller, MO; mother-in-law, Evelyn Foster of Springfield; brothers-in-law Mike Foster of Omaha, NE and David Foster (Sherry) of Springfield; sister-in-law, Denise Allen of Nixa and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 9:30 AM on Friday, December 3, also at the Funeral Home. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at 11:00 AM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
