Christopher Ryan Appleby, 42 of Springfield, MO passed away May 1, 2019.

He was born Feb 12. 1977 in Springfield, MO to Christopher P. Appleby and Jean M. White.

Christopher had recently completed welding training and received his certificate. He worked as a chef with Touch, Flame, Tower Club, and Trollies. Christopher won Taste Of Springfield in the appetizer division.  He enjoyed playing the guitar and loved music.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Leona Fairley and Betty and Rex Appleby.

He is survived by his mother, Jean M. White; his father, Christopher P. Appleby; two sons, Gavin and Andrew; and a brother, Sean Appleby, all of Springfield, MO; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 23, 2019 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in his mother's home.
