Cheryl T. Palmer, age 82, of Springfield, MO, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, while at Cox Hospital South in Springfield, MO.

Cheryl was born on February 23,1944 in Monett, MO, the daughter of the late Elijahiea N. Coker, Jr, and Marjorie L. Coker (Howerton). She graduated with the Class of 1962 at Monett High School. Cheryl worked in a variety of fields throughout her life but was most fond of serving others as a personal Health Caregiver for more than thirteen years. She was a member of the Chesterfield Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, Springfield.

She and her first husband, Joe R. Carlisle, had two children, Timothy Allen and Tawana Ann Carlisle. She later married Vurland Robinson on January 21,1972 and William T. Palmer on August 21, 2019. Preceding her in death were her husbands and a son, Timothy A. Robinson. Cheryl is survived by one brother, Norman Coker and his wife Sharon of Springfield, MO; one daughter, Tawana Ann; and eight grandchildren/great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
