Charva Ledon Martin: a gentle-hearted warrior princess and devout loving mother. Born August 4th, 1961 of Springfield Missouri, (formerly of Dallas Texas) she moved with kindness throughout the community and was beloved anyplace she would frequent.

After years of fighting, she finally found her rest on April 4th, 2025 at 4:10 am. The downpour that day was torrential, as if the world itself mourned her passing. Each crash of thunder that day was surely the cheers of those she finally got to see again. She was met on the other side by her Mother Lillie Adkins, Father William Martin, and her Sister Dwaynia Martin.

Her spirit is kept alive by her immediate family including Daughter Jasmine L. Martin, Son-In-Law Thomas Martin, her Nieces Dominique Martin and Kadesha Beachum, and Goddaughter Lauren Fischer.

Visitation will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home from 5-7 pm, Friday April 11th.
