Charles Arthur "Chuck" Floyd, Jr., age 69, of Springfield, MO passed away peacefully at home on June 19, 2017.  He was a well-respected real estate broker at Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realtors, attended church at Central Assembly, and a Vietnam Veteran.  He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and colleague who is greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by father Charles A. Floyd, Sr.; mother Virginia Mary Geil; and sister Carol Buell.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 49 years, Laurel Floyd; daughters, Amy Bake, husband Van, Noelle Vejtasa, husband Dave, and Julie Noga, husband Charles; 7 grandchildren - Wyatt, Ty, Ryan and Rachel Bake, Anna and Natalie Vejtasa, and Lucy Noga. Sister-in-law Debbie Cooper; nieces Holly Johnson and Jennifer Austin and nephew David Pare.

Visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole, Springfield, MO 65804.  Graveside service with full military honors will be at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
