Charles "Charlie" F. Otradovec passed away on December 23, 2010. Charlie was born in Bolivar, MO to Joseph and Lena (Wilson) Otradovec on January 28, 1931. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was employed at Kraft Foods for thirty-five years. Charlie married Dorothy "Doris" Otradovec on June 10, 1954. He was a charter member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joseph Otradovec. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, four children; Steve Otradovec and wife Rita, Debbie Staed and husband Terry, Lisa Quinn and husband Sean and Chris Otradovec and wife Kim; and a sister Barbara Messerli. He was the proud Grandpa of Kellen and wife Marcy, Stephen and Jessica Otradovec, Michael and wife Angie, Sean, Laura and Kevin Staed, Courtney and Cassidy Quinn, Evan Otradovec and step-grandchildren Ashton and Ania Larimore. He was "Grandpa Great" to Connor, Hailey, Chase and Charlie. He was also a brother-in-law, an uncle and a friend to many. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Fergus Monahan and Msgr. Thomas Reidy co-celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Karlin, MO. Prayer service will be held in the church at 6 p.m. Sunday with a visitation following until 8 p.m. under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
