Charlene Y. Wolfe, age 83, Springfield passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 in Mercy Hospital. She was born November 28, 1936 in Springfield to Raymond and Ercle Olson Selvey. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, MO.

Charlene was a homemaker. She loved golf and big game hunting in Wyoming and Montana. She enjoyed her lake life at their lake home on Table Rock Lake, where she loved to fish and water ski. Although not an every Sunday churchgoer, Charlene was a devoted Christian.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Charlene is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Gene; four daughters, Gwen Bond, Springfield, Cherie Alexander, Springfield, Brenda Ritter and husband Gary, Edmond, OK and Christine Fairchild and husband Justin, Rogersville, MO.

A visitation will take place from 4 to 6pm, Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held in Maple Park Cemetery.
