Catherine Elizabeth Peck, age 84, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2022 with a family member by her side.

Elizabeth, as she was known to family and friends, was born on October 7, 1938 to George Tocher and Isabel Clayton Tocher in Vicksburg, Mississippi. She graduated high school from Margaret Hall, Versailles, Kentucky, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from Texas Wesleyan University in Ft. Worth, Texas. She and Robert "Bob" Peck married and lived in St. Louis, Missouri, with their two sons. The family spent summers in Lake of the Woods, Ontario, Canada. When Elizabeth, a high school librarian, and Bob, a high school teacher, retired they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. After Bob's death, Elizabeth relocated to Springfield, Missouri.

Her interests and activities included traveling throughout the United States, Canada, England, and Scotland. Additionally, she enjoyed reading, listening to music, playing Scrabble, attending live theatre performances, acting, watching professional and college sports, and participating in church activities.

Elizabeth leaves behind her sons, Alex Peck and Howard Peck, a grandson, two granddaughters, and two great granddaughters, whom she adored.
