IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cassandra L.
D'Arpino
January 7, 1985 – September 27, 2024
Cassandra Lynn D'Arpino, born on January 7, 1985, and passed away on September 27, 2024, was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a proud aunt to Olivia, Charli, Carly, and Ethan, who brought her immense joy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Steve D'Arpino, her loving parents, Russ and Barbara Huether, her cherished sister, Nicki Moeckel, and brother-in-law, Chris Moeckel. She is also remembered by her sister-in-law, Jessica Walker, her husband Jesse, and their children. Cassandra is preceded in death by her loving in-laws, Mary Ann and Mark D'Arpino along with many more Aunts, Uncles, and relatives.
Cassandra was not only a bright light in the lives of those who knew her but also a beacon of strength and compassion. She had an unwavering commitment to helping others, dedicating countless hours to support fellow cancer fighters and advocating for those in need. Her kindness extended to her love for animals, as she volunteered at the local humane society, embodying the belief that every life deserves care and compassion. She adopted two senior dogs who both had health issues, muggsy and Jake. And no conversation about Cassie would be complete without mentioning her furry best friend, Bella who never left her side in her final days at home.
Proudly known as "Aunt Cassie," she brought joy to the lives of her nieces, Olivia and Charli Moeckel, as well as her nephew Ethan and niece Carly Walker. Her warm spirit and infectious laughter created unforgettable memories for family and friends alike. Cassandra's genuine love for life and her extraordinary ability to uplift those around her will forever be remembered.
As we celebrate Cassandra's life, we remember her generous heart, her tenacity in the face of challenges, and her commitment to making the world a better place. Though she has left us too soon, her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In honor of Cassandra, the family encourages acts of kindness and generosity in her memory, whether through donations to the Southwest Missouri Humane Society, or any cancer support groups.
Cassandra Lynn D'Arpino will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
