Carolyn Sue McGuire, 81, of Springfield, MO passed away at 11:30 AM on July 28, 2024 in Springfield, MO. She was born October 13, 1942 in St. Louis, MO to William (Bill) Nickless and Olivia (Wiggs) Dixon.

She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. Sue enjoyed working on the flowers and landscape in her yard. She loved to fish, swim and spend time at the lake, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her grandsons and great grandsons.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward McGuire; brother, Jimmy Nickless; brother-in-law, James Mike McGuire and step-dad, Chet Wiggs.

She is survived by her son, Mark McGuire (Tracia) of Springfield; grandchildren Jacob McGuire (Julia) of Strafford, Joseph McGuire (Daiwa) of Springfield and Joshua McGuire of Springfield; sister-in-law Mary McGuire and great grandchildren James McGuire and George McGuire.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
