Carolyn Ament was born August 16th, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri and passed away January 21, 2011 in her home in Springfield, Missouri, surrounded by her family. She was raised in Kansas City by her paternal grandparents, Nellie and Louis Culbertson and her aunt Margie Spears. Carolyn was married in 1962 and is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Dr. Larry Ament, daughter Kendel Wolf and her husband David, son Kyle Ament and his wife Cindy, and the joy of her life, her grandchildren Kami Wolf, Zach Wolf, Madeline Ament, and Heather Springer. She is also survived by one sister Jackie LaMountain and her husband Richard. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf funeral home (www.gormanscharpf.com) in Springfield, Missouri. The family will hold a private grave side service.
