Carolee Smith was born on July 14, 1957, in Columbia MO and passed away on April 20, 2025, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield MO at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her parents, JN and Patrcia Smith and partner, Rick Lamar. She is survived by two brothers, one sister, two nieces, one nephew, four special cousins and numerous friends. She was educated at Greenwood Laboratory School in Springfield MO. and received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg Missouri. She spent 45 years nursing in Kansas City MO and Springfield MO.

As a very young girl, all she ever wanted to do was be a nurse and help her fellow humankind. Carolee worked in many areas of the medical field. Her greatest satisfaction was finishing her career as a hospice nurse. She was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals. Through thick and thin seasons, she was always a loyal fan. Carolee, your mission on earth is completed, enjoy eternity.
