Carol Sue Crabb departed this life on October 27, 2014 after a brave fight with cancer. Carol was born in Monett, MO to Hollis Adrian Walton and Mildred Catherine Walton on December 19, 1937. Growing up on a farm outside Monett, Carol Sue had a true love of nature and all animals, who she nurtured and cared for lovingly. Carol attended Monett High School where she developed close friendships with classmates with whom she currently kept close connections. Carol graduated from MSU and worked at Mercy Hospital as a medical technologist for 37 years. She loved spending time with friends and family on Table Rock Lake and also liked tending to her garden and walking her dogs. Carol also enjoyed volunteering her time at C.A.R.E. animal rescue, where she made many good friends. Carol's kind and generous nature will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Crabb; son, Michael Crabb; and daughter, Jana Crabb. Memorial contributions may be made to C.A.R.E., P.O. Box 215, Aurora, MO 65605. Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with the service following at 2:00 p.m.
