Carl Edward (Bosco) Smith, 62, of Springfield, passed away Dec. 19, 2021 at Cox South. He was born Dec. 14, 1959 to Lucille and Roy Allen Smith. Bosco had a passion for Nascar, drag racing and the Dallas Cowboys. He had much love for his children, Alexa Smith-Sheehan, Kelly Shaw and for his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Allen Smith and son, Austin O'Neal. Bosco will always be remembered and loved by all of his family; his mother, Lucille Smith; sisters Wanda Baker and Beverly Smith; brothers Rod Smith, Sean (Darline) Mabins, Terry (Sarah) Smith, Fred Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM in Hazelwood Cemetery.
