C. Arthur Bredenberg, born March 20, 1921 in Libertyville, Ill. the son of John and Ernestine Bredenberg, departed this life January 10, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian Hansen. Arthur retired from financial management at Leepale Inc. He was a Life Member of Masonic Lodge #422 in Joliet, Ill. and he was a member of OSSSM, Score. He volunteered for numerous organizations including Friends of the Library, Crosslines and the Red Cross. He is survived by his wife Dorothy McCullough of the home, three children; Joan Burhoe and husband Brian of Frankfort, Ill., Walter Bredenberg and wife Linda of Springfield, Mo., and Diane Hicks and husband Danny of Coppell, Texas; two stepdaughters, Diane McCullough of St. Louis, Mo.. and Karen Schneider and husband Fred of St. Charles, Mo.; three grandchildren, Ashley Bredenberg of Grenada, Kelsey Bredenberg of Springfield, Mo., and William Norman and wife Vanessa of Nixa; and numerous family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 in St. James Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society, 1675 E.
