Calvin Housley, age 86 of Springfield, MO passed away at 11:35 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012 in The Maples Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born April 13, 1925 in Springfield, Missouri. He was married over 55 years to Thelma Housley who preceded him in death. He was a union brick layer for over 20 years. Calvin is survived by his son Russell (Rhonda) Housley, two grandchildren Cameron and Trevor, special friends Nelson "Mac" McKinley and Gerald Burkhart, and a niece, Helen Abernathy. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 in White Chapel Cemetery under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospice.
