Burneil "Burnie" L. Lindquist, 73, of Charleston, SC, husband of Aletha "Pat" Mason Lindquist died Wednesday, October 31, 2012. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole, Springfield, MO. Mr. Lindquist was born January 18, 1939 in Wahoo, NE, son of the late Harland Gustav Lindquist and the late Mary Ellen Gardner Lindquist. He was a retired architect from LS3P and Associates. His hobbies were many and varied including art, bird watching, gardening, volunteering at the S.C. Aquarium and as a tour guide for the historical houses of Charleston. A wonderful husband and father, he will be missed by his wife of 53 years and son, Jon Lindquist and daughter-in-law, Alison Lindquist, Olathe, KS and daughter, Catherine Murrell and son-in-law, Scott Murrell, Springfield, MO; grandchildren, Zachary and Sara Lindquist and Mason and Sawyer Murrell and brother, Clair Lindquist and sister-in-law Laurie Lindquist, Lincoln, NE.
