Buddy Lee Janes, 76, Conroe, TX, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 in his home, surrounded by his family.  He was born June 5, 1945 in Springfield, the son of Donald Janes and Atha Bell Eidson Janes.

Buddy graduated from Central High School in 1963. He worked for Zenith Corporation for many years, then retired from driving a school bus for the Springfield Public School System.  Buddy loved classic Chevy cars and was President for several years of The Classic Chevy Club of Springfield.

Buddy is survived by his sister, Nancy Rhymes; one niece; two nephews; and several cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Maple Park Cemetery.
