Brian Ortner, 42, St. Charles, MO passed away January 7, 2021 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

Brian was active and liked to be on the move. He was a very neat and tidy person. He constantly cleaned up after everyone. Brian LOVED McDonalds French fries so much he would have to make a special trip. He had a good personality and liked to make people laugh. He called his grandma every day. Even though Brian wasn't the best driver, he liked to cruise around in the car. He loved listening to music and watching movies. Brian will be missed.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents Gary and Leana Burkhart Ortner.

He is survived by his grandmothers, Virginia Mackey and Madaline Burkhart; brothers, Chris and wife Michelle Ortner and Tyler Burkhart; sister Jessica Cook; aunts, Cindy and Beverly; uncles, Steve and Jim; step-mother, Anita Gieseler and girlfriend, Vanessa Carpenter.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
