Brian Peter Linton Bennoch, 65, Springfield, passed away June 21, 2009 in his home. He was born July 10, 1943 in Enniskillen, Ireland, the son of Alexander McQueen and Isabella Linton McIlree Bennoch. Brian grew up in Fivemiletown Northern Ireland. He emigrated to the U.S. in March 1991 and proudly gained his citizenship in 1997. Brian was an employee at Drury University for the past 15 years and planned to retire next month. Brian is survived by his brother, Shane and his wife, Chelle; one niece, Shannon and her husband, Chris Garbaccio; three nephews, Kevin Bennoch and wife, Leslie; Auggie Newberry; and Skylar Newberry; grandniece and nephew, Gia and Miles; his 103 year old aunt, Molly, Dublin, Ireland; and also loved by many cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Drury Stone Chapel under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
