Our son, Brian Joseph DeLozier, passed away unexpectedly and has left us with great sadness and very heavy hearts. We have many unanswered questions but trust that he is in a better place. Brian was a 1993 graduate of Kickapoo High School, SMS College and ComAir Flight School. Brian loved to fly and hunt. His greatest love was his family, especially his son Brett. If you knew him then you knew he had a heart of gold and was a champion of the underdog.

Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dane and Brunette DeLozier, Wally and Liz Moye and an uncle Dr. Joe Moye. He is survived by his son Brett Joseph and Brett's mother Bobbie Jo Bickers DeLozier. Also surviving are his parents Jack and Mary DeLozier and brothers Mark and Matt. Immediate family includes Mark's wife Barbi, and their sons Jack and Preston and step-son Mychal Adamson and his fiancé Lauren Green, Matt's wife Lauren and their daughters Elise and Camille. He had many special people in his life including his partner Crystal Conley.

Memorial donations may be made for Brett's financial support to Jack or Mary DeLozier at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole St., Springfield, MO 65804.

Services will be at 6:30 pm, Friday, Jan. 27, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with visitation to follow.

Demons are all around us and they selfishly take their toll. Love one another today.
