Brenda Sue Woody, 79 of Springfield passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at home from complications of breast cancer.  She was born November 20, 1944 in Springfield to Arnold Biggs and Lorene (Loveless) Biggs.

Brenda graduated from Parkview High School in 1963.

She met James Woody at Consumer Market at Bennett and Glenstone.  They married August 29, 1963.  Brenda followed James during his naval service to Point Loma and Coronado, California then to Oklahoma City, later back to Springfield.

Brenda is survived by her husband, a daughter and a granddaughter.

She was always happy, positive and encouraging.
