Brenda Stroupe, 78, passed away July 29, 2017 following a sudden illness. Brenda was born May 19, 1939 to the late Zell & Marian (Yepsen) Ward, Sandusky, OH.

Brenda was an exceptionally talented seamstress, avid reader, and lover of all things purple.

She is survived by her husband Jack, sons Randy and Matthew (Gina) Yanushewski, and daughter, Tracy (Scott) Mitchell; step-daughters Keri (David) Buell, and Kelli Dolan. Also surviving are 4 stepchildren, 13 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Chester Yanushewski III, and brother Paul Ward.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 1 - 3:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home 1947 E Seminole, Springfield, MO. A private memorial will be held in Slidell, LA at a later date.
