Bradley Ray Boyce, age 59, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on October 17th, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Springfield from a sudden heart attack. He was born December 3, 1961, in Cabool, Missouri, the son of Lloyd and Hazel Boyce. Brad and his twin sister Brenda were the youngest of six siblings. Brenda likes to brag that she is the older one by two minutes!

Brad is survived by his wife, Stacey, of Springfield; stepdaughter, Stephanie Taylor and her husband Michael Taylor; granddaughters, Emma and Ellie Taylor; three brothers, Larry Boyce and wife Sherry, Leon Boyce and wife Karen, Rick Boyce and wife Cindy; two sisters, Jan Wise and Brenda Priester, his twin; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom he loved dearly.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Hazel Boyce.

Brad was a 1980 graduate of Cabool High School. He started his hardworking career on the tie gang for Burlington Northern/Frisco Railroad. He then went on to work for Associated Wholesale Grocers in Springfield, Missouri for 35 years and was looking forward to retirement. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union local 245. Brad was one of a kind, the kind of guy who never met a stranger and was happy to help anyone with anything. He cherished spending time with family, hanging out with his "Cheers" friends, and watching Cardinals baseball. He loved working outside and took a great deal of pride in caring for his garden and flowers. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and more recently whiskey making, which he loved to share with others.

Visitation will be at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on Thursday, October 21, from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will also be held at Gorman-Scharpf on Friday, October 22, at 2 pm. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 23, from 11-1 at the Venue on Brick in Ozark, Missouri.
