Obituary

Braden Michael Rohrbaugh (Gaeta), son of Jose L. and Heidi Ann Gaeta was born on October 6, 1995 in Springfield, Missouri.  Braden graduated from Parkview High School in 2014.

Braden had several interests in his youth including playing several sports such as basketball, football, baseball, track, indoor soccer, and wrestling.  In his high school years, Braden focused on football and excelled earning several accolades including a college scholarship.  Braden also enjoyed playing video games, being around music events, and spending time with his friends and family.

Braden's greatest joy entered his life when his daughter Sofia was born to Braden and Diana Lavruk on August 13, 2015.  Sofia was the apple of his eye!

Braden passed entirely too soon on Monday March 22, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri surrounded by his parents and loved ones.  Braden was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Jerry and Joyce Rohrbaugh of Springfield and Robert and Mariana Wetherell of Peterson, Iowa, and Grandmother Barb Lane Rohrbaugh of Springfield.

Braden is survived by his daughter Sofia Lavruk of Springfield, parents Jose and Heidi Gaeta of Springfield, significant other NaSha Tsotigh of Springfield, Missouri, Grandparents Rick Rohrbaugh and Thomas and Laurie Rohde of Springfield, Uncle and Aunt Michael and Stacy Rohrbaugh of Springfield, siblings Jalen Tummons and family, and Lareace Brewster and family of Springfield, and numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Sofia Lavruk college fund.
