James Bradley Wolfe, Brad, was born October 30, 1974. He was 46 years, 10 months and 28 days. He was born in Bethesda, Maryland to James B. Wolfe and Nancy McGinness Wolfe. Brad found peace Monday, September 27, 2021. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his father, James B. Wolfe and step-mother, Jana, of Battlefield, MO, brothers: John Wolfe (Carla) of Ozark, MO and Dustin Wolfe (Serenity) of West End, NC, step sisters: Jennifer Henderson (Steven) of Yukon, OK, Heather Ramsey of Battlefield, MO and step brother, Chad Ramsey of Battlefield, MO. His paternal grandmother, Dorothea Wolfe of Des Moines, IA and paternal uncle, Jerry Wolfe (Rae) of Eagle Grove, IA. Nieces: Rain, Sky, Trinity, Aspen, & Lily of Ozark, MO and Brielle & Sadie of West End, NC, step nephew, Zack Miller (Jessica) of Springfield, MO and step niece, Brie Miller and many cousins and friends.
Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy, paternal grandfather, James Burton Wolfe, maternal grandparents, John and Bernice McGinness, and niece, Marissa Ramsey.
Brad graduated from Glendale High school in 1993. He was a certified mechanic for personal watercraft. Brad was an avid Star Wars fan, enjoying everything about the Empire. He enjoyed shooting, including competition, RC cars, and flying remote control planes. He really enjoyed his several Mini Coopers and British cars. He belonged to the GO BMC (British car club) and SCCA, a sports car club.
Above all else Brad loved and adored his constant companion for the last 15 years, Lucas. Brad rescued Lucas after finding him as a kitten who had been hit by a car.
We are grateful to many but especially Lisa, his personal care giver, Ashlea & April, his infusion nurses from Cox Health at Home Infusion & Specialty Pharmacy Care, The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Springfield, and to the loving care of all the nurses and medical support team at Cox Medical Center South.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-2:30 PM Monday, October 4, 2021, followed by a memorial service at 2:30 PM at Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home.
