Bradley (Brad) Kent Morton of Republic passed away at age 53 on Wednesday, June 17th, 2020 after suffering complications from a short battle with cancer.

Brad was born on May 24th, 1967 to Bill and Dorothy Morton of Springfield, Mo. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Morton. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy and his son, Devin, his mother, Dorothy Morton and his sister, Kimberly Morton. Also, his father in law & mother in law, Gary and Bonnie Volland, brother in law & sister in law, Greg and Tammy Volland, two nieces, one nephew and two great nephews. Brad is also survived by many extended relatives as well as many good friends. Brad and Cindy (Volland) were married in Marionville, Mo. on December 31st, 1988. He helped run Republic Printing, a small family shop where he used his talents in typesetting and graphic design. Brad was an avid gamer and was particularly fond of board games. He was a member of 417Gamers and enjoyed many hours gaming and visiting with friends. Brad loved movies and music. He was a true fan of old B movies which led him to his favorite shows like MST3K and Riff-Trax. Brad had several beloved cats and dogs that were his constant companions. Brad loved his family and friends and we loved him so very much. He was taken from us far too soon and he will be greatly missed by so many.
