Janelle went to be with her Lord in Heaven on May 9, 2017 at the age of 82.  She was born on October 31, 1934 to Allen and Veda Boyts in Springfield, Missouri.  She lived her life in Jesus Christ and was baptized at an early age.

Janelle devoted her life to her family, raising her two children and her granddaughter, Hailey.

Janelle was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jerry.

Janelle is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert L. Fender; her son Rob (Jo) and daughter Hailey (Kirsten), her daughter, Cindy and sons, Tyler (Kelly) and Spencer (Annie); two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Rylinn Wasman; along with her beloved animals, her cat Griffin and her bird Poppy.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday May 13, 2017 at Hazelwood Cemetery.  No visitation is scheduled however, friends may call at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home between 3 and 7 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017.
