Bobby R. Wasman 78, Springfield, Mo., passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010. He was born May 14, 1932, in Gravette, Ark., to Everette Lee and Anna Belle Wasman. Bobby was united in marriage to Shirley Wellesley on December 30, 1957. He served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. Bobby worked as a meat cutter for fifty years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Cardinals Baseball. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Kevin Lee Wasman. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Wasman, Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Deanna Wasman, Columbia, Mo.; and Stacy Wasman, Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Barbara Wasman, Sulphur Springs, Ark; two grandsons, Tyler Wasman, and wife Kelly, Ballwin, Mo.; and Spencer Wasman, Springfield, Mo.; and daughter-in-law, Cindy Wasman, Springfield, Mo. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2010, in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. No visitation is scheduled, however friends may call after 3 p.m., Friday in the funeral home.
