Bobby Gene Turner passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at his home. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from the United States Postal Service. Bob was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church in Springfield. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Turner, 2 daughters, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, 1 sister, and many other friends and family. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, at 10 am at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Funeral Home.
