Bob Nanney, 69, Springfield, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in Mercy Hospital. He was born January 27, 1946 in Terresita, Missouri, the son of Walter D. and Opal Norma Nanney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie Ann Nanney; and a sister, Norma June Philpott. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Nanney; a brother, Allen D. Nanney; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. today, Friday, September 4, 2015 in Maple Park Cemetery, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
