Obituary
Bobby P. McGovern, 91, of Springfield, passed away on September 20, 2023 in Springfield. He was born in Arizona to Nathan and Katy Anderson. He was married to Arlette McGovern for 66 years.
He was an avid golfer and also loved to fish. He was a member of Twin Oaks Country Club and Elks Lodge 409 for many years.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife and brothers Bill and Jerry McGovern.
Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 29, 2023 in Springfield National Cemetery. Online condolences can be left at gormanscharpf.com
