Bobby "Bob" Dean, 75, Springfield, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in his home. He was a Korean Naval Air Corp Veteran. Bob was a barber in Springfield for 50 years. Bob is survived by his wife, Lois Dean; a son, James Michael Dean and wife, Janie; two brothers; three sisters; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 in First Baptist Church, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
