Obituary

Blake Kristopher Allen Jones, 18, passed away July 10, 2022 doing the thing he loved the most: riding a motorcycle.  He was born the son of Deanna Jones at Lake Regional in Osage Beach.

Blake was preceded in death by his Oma, Grace Gatzert of St Louis and his cousin Bo, Gene Gazert II of Anna, TX.  He was also recently preceded by close friend Trenton Williamson of Springfield Mo.  I know they have him in their arms and Blake still has his riding buddy by his side.

Blake is survived by his mother Deanna Jones and Step-Dad Matthew of Springfield, MO; his 2 brothers, Connor and Gavin, and his baby sister Avery. We promise to never let her forget her bubba. He is also survived by his Nana and Papa, Juanita and Jay Jones of St. Charles, MO as well as his new grandparents who love him like their own, Gene and Jamie Addler of Bruner, MO; his Aunt Manda, Amanda Marriott and her husband Jason Marriott of Springfield, MO; his Uncle Travis Jones of St. Charles; His cousins Bella Marriott, Madison Zobrist, and Dakota Zobrist and finally Marshall Wilson, who, along with Madison and Dakota, completed "The Gang."

In his free time, Blake was drawing, playing with his baby sister, playing Xbox with his brothers and friends, riding his Harley, driving his beloved car and he loved to scale buildings whenever he could - no building too high.  He was always around family and friends, smiling and helping anyone he could.

Blake grew up with his mom Deanna, which formed a bond stronger than mother and son.  She was his biggest supporter and champion and he loved her fiercely.  Blake wanted more than anything to see his mom happy and loved and he was so grateful Matthew came into the picture.  Blake was extremely grateful for the love Matt showed him, his brothers, his sister and most importantly his Mom.  He is certainly resting easy knowing his mom finally found someone he was proud to call his Step-Dad.

Blake loved playing sports, hanging with "the gang" and was working hard to figure out how to become an adult in this tough world.  He wasn't always a fan of school, but he pushed though and did not give up and graduated this past May.

If you asked Blake what his favorite movie was, his answer was always "anything Marvel" but he had a special love for Spiderman ever since he was young.  He always said if he could have any superpower it would be to have Spiderman's. He always said how cool it would be to be able to walk up walls and to be super fast and strong like Spiderman.  He mastered Spiderman's kindness and was willing to help anyone who needed it from an early age.  He was always the first person to offer to help, stopping multiple times to help people on the road in need of a push or tow or simply to be followed home to ensure they made it safely.  He had the biggest heart. We are asking anyone in attendance to wear something recognizing the things he loved which were Spiderman, Marvel, motorcycles, and fast cars.
