Blake Alexander Bright passed peacefully into his eternal sleep, Saturday, July 30, 2016, while in the arms of his loving parents at St. Louis Children's Hospital.  Blake was born Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016 at just 23 weeks gestation. During his brief, four month journey in this life, he touched many lives, and brought countless numbers of people together, uniting in prayer.   Our little fighter struggled to overcome severely under developed lungs due to his premature birth but to no avail. We are so thankful for the incredible doctors, nurses and medical professionals in the NICU of Cox South, Springfield and St. Louis Children's Hospital that cared for him and fought alongside him.  Blake will be forever missed by his parents, Travis and Tasha Bright, and his big brother Michael.

Blake is also survived by grand-parents, Robin Yarger, Rob and Sherry Wilson, Terry and Anita Bright, Charles and Cheryl Rose; along with great grand-parents, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends of the family.

In lieu of flowers we would be honored to have you support The Children's Miracle Network or Cox South NICU both of Springfield as they supported us in our time of need. A simple graveside service for family and friends will be held at Hazelwood Cemetery.
